Life Coach, Director, marathon runner and Mum of two who steps into courage every day.
I believe in the concept of value congruence, and I love that I get to work with people who want to write their own success story. I am driven to empower others to make these changes and am fearless in my coaching style, challenging my clients to be more than they believe they can be.
I have always had a sense of wanting to help others, a deep sense of empathy within, that along with determination, courage, and an awareness of who I really am, has led to me becoming a successful life coach, empowering others to live a fulfilled life.
This journey to success has been a bumpy road.
My Mum passed away when I was 21, leaving a huge gap in my life. I was broken, and over time I excused myself from deserving a fulfilled life, learning to be okay with being average. Comparison became the thief of joy. It also led me to become a huge over thinker, spending many an hour not being able to see the wood from the tree’s, putting off making decisions and not making good choices in life.
Over time I looked to change this mindset, I took responsibility and asked for help. I began to move forward towards a better life. Small steps are all I took both physically and mentally, one day at a time. I started to become curious about the world as I wanted to understand my unhelpful thoughts and feelings and why I was living a unsatisfied life. I wanted to know how I can turn things around.
Through having my own life coach, I explored many beliefs, fears that were holding me back so that I could heal and challenge myself in ways that I have never done before. This allowed me to grow as a person, moving me physically and mentally to a successful career, improving my relationships and most importantly, giving myself permission to find joy in life again.
I developed strong habits with meditation and exercise (running is my thing) and use the mantra ‘never give up’ as a reminder to myself, with even small things, of the kind of person that I want to be.
In my late 20’s I became passionate about learning about human behaviour, the mind, and how successful people such as business owners, athletes and inspiring people lived their lives.
At the age of 37, I graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology whilst working as a Registered Careers Professional with young people. I later undertook training in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Mindfulness and then, accredited Life Coaching training. Proudly, in 2018 my life coaching business was born. It’s been an incredible honour to support others with these magnificent tools as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) Life Coach.
